FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the "Open Kitchen Cooking Class"

Due to the Public Holiday and the restaurant being closed, we decided to open our kitchen in The Marquee to host a Cooking Class!

This experience will offer an intimate, hands-on journey through flavour, wine & craft, hosted by owner & head chef Mark Mills, along with his wife Ruth.

Specifically designed to satisfy your food & wine curiosities, with ample sprinklings of laughter being the main ingredient!

What time does the Cooking Class start?

We have a lot to get through, so we will open the doors at 11.45am with a glass of bubbles on arrival, and the first Lesson to commence at 12noon.

What’s on the Lesson Plan (a.k.a. Menu)?

Salami chips
Paired with Sparkling Cuvee

Steak tartare with shiraz pearls, served in a crunchy cone
Paired with Sparkling Shiraz

House-made gnocchi (of which you will be kneading) with Napoli sauce and freshly baked bread.
Paired with Chardonnay & Pinot Noir

Get intimate with our Warm Chocolate Brownie, assembling the many components for yourself.
Paired with Cabernet Sauvignon & Barrel Port

What do I need to bring to the Cooking Class?

Just bring your curiosity, a healthy appetite, and a dash of fun – we’ll supply the rest.

An apron helps keep the flour on the gnocchi and off your shirt, and if you don’t have one, you can purchase a Plough apron when booking. It’s the perfect keepsake (and bragging rights) from your day in the kitchen with Chef Mark.

How can I book?

Bookings are strictly limited to 20 guests, and we expect to sell out fast.

You can secure this exclusive Cooking Class experience via the online store on our website. (See the button below.)

What about dietary requirements?

While we can serve meals to accommodate your dietary needs, we will not be able to adjust the preparation due to safety.

Please notify us of your dietary needs when you book so we can accommodate you on the day.
