What day is The Plough open for lunch for the "Heritage On A Plate"?
We are open for lunch on Monday 4 November 2024 from 12 noon. All of our favourite dishes are available on this special day. Kids Menu, Beer Garden, Wines by the Glass, Great Coffee.

What is the "Hide + Seek" Festival?
Moorabool Shire Council presents this year's Hide + Seek Festival.
It is a vibrant celebration that unfolds every two years, blending music, art, nature, and food to foster connection, joy, and fresh experiences for both locals and visitors.
This dynamic festival spotlights the regional towns of Myrniong, Ballan, Gordon, Blackwood, Bacchus Marsh, Greendale and Leigh Creek.
With something to delight everyone, this year's festival invites you to explore the hidden treasures of Moorabool Shire from Friday 1 November to Sunday 10 November.

Visit our Historic Stables, listen to stories from 1850s and the establishment of the township of Myrniong. Walk through time past and appreciate the lives of our pioneers.
Do I have to pay for the tour?
No. Tours through our Historic Stables are self-guided and FREE! Our enthusiastic Guide will be available to share stories with you.
If you wish to buy lunch, the restaurant will be open with a special Heritage On A Plate menu with all of your favourite dishes. Each individual menu will have a link to a story from the late 1800s. Enjoy the opportunity to learn about the pioneers who built Myrniong in the early days.
Do I have to book for lunch?
We have a limited number of tables available for lunch on Monday 4 November from 12pm. We do advise you book to secure your seats. Visit our online store for further details.
